FAQ
Your frequently asked questions answered!
What if I can't make a class?
If you’ve registered for a class but are unable to attend, please reach out to us at curiouscanaryinc@gmail.com. We’ll be happy to issue you a credit that can be applied towards a makeup class.
Who is this class made for?
This caregiver & me class is for adults and children of any age, from birth onward. Our flexible curriculum adapts to all ages, though some parts focus on the caregiver’s personal exploration. Older children (beyond preschool) may not be as engaged, and that's okay!

The class is open to parents, family members, or childcare providers, focusing on building strong connections with the child in your care, whether full-time or part-time.

Although we meet outdoors in local parks, you don’t have to be an "outdoor enthusiast" to join. We welcome caregivers of all types—whether you love hiking, enjoy a leisurely walk, or prefer staying indoors!
How do I book a class?

Our schedule is posted two months in advance, though there may be some updates closer to the date. First, choose the location that works best for you—currently, we offer classes in Superior, Lafayette, and Fort Collins. Then, select a time that fits your schedule and register!
How do I pay?
We offer a sliding scale for all of our classes to ensure accessibility for everyone. The sliding scale takes into account factors like your household’s annual income, the number of people in your home, and how much you have left after covering essential bills each month.

You can choose between two payment options: drop-in classes (which are slightly more expensive) or a 5-class package. If you purchase a package, please remember that you still need to register for each class in advance so we know you’re coming.
We’re committed to making our classes accessible to all and appreciate your understanding!
What if I don't like meditation?
Even if you're not a fan of meditation, this class is still for you! Our sessions are designed to connect with yourself, your child, and the world around you in ways that go beyond traditional meditation. We focus on mindfulness, movement, nature exploration, and building authentic connections—all of which can help reduce stress and enhance your well-being. You don’t need to be into meditation to benefit from the class, as we offer a variety of activities that cater to different preferences and allow you to explore what feels right for you. Everyone is welcome!
